Absolutely loved this book to be honest.

The main premise of this book is to fight against the notion that humans are inherently bad.

The Veneer theory. The idea that human’s true nature is actually selfish and brutish.

This book debunks various studies and stories like:

Also shares some interesting stories to argue that humans are inherently good. An example like most soldiers in world wars not firing their weapons was a crazy thing to hear about.

There were some points here and there that I found myself disagreeing with but overall a fantastic book. Must read for anyone interested in human psychology.
